Draft Parent Notice and Action Summary

Draft—counsel review required. This local product-review notice does not claim to be a legally sufficient direct notice or verifiable-parental-consent method.

Document version: parent-notice-draft-2026-08-16

What the parent is reviewing

Chimpal proposes to collect a privacy-safe child profile—screen name, optional age, up to five favourite-topic slugs, and learning style—and structured learning records such as explored topics, visit counts, summaries, and inferred interests.

How it would be used and disclosed

The data personalises shared early-learning sessions and Parent Zone insights. Supabase stores adult identity and the caregiver-owned data graph; Vercel hosts the app; Anthropic would receive bounded server-side learning requests only after separate production approval. See the full draft Privacy Notice.

Choice and rights

The parent may refuse and create no child profile, or later review, export, correct, stop future collection, delete one profile, or delete the whole account. Refusal leaves only the adult Supabase Auth account until it is deleted or the parent returns.

Production gate

Before launch, counsel must approve the operator/contact details, exact data/vendor disclosures, jurisdictions, retention, and verification method. Only an activated document version may use production agreement/consent copy.
